2 kinds..open and closed..open has "teeth"..closed is just a straight bar..IMO..open comb is a bit easier..closed comb tends to cover more of the DE blade..plus open comb is easier to wash lather off..im sure thats why they were made..just my thoughts

my dad buys Mach3 from Costco..$25/14blades..not too bad..in his army days DE was his only option..but now eye n hand coordination isnt what it used to be..so...he shaves onward

these blades are AMAZINGLY smooth..gotta love the Israeli's (I'm half) so I can contest

meh...depends on preference..sometimes you need to "mash" the brush and sometimes painting is easier..probably how much lather is in the brush itself ...mixed with water of course

ebay has Derbys for cheap..many other online sites sell em www.westcoastshaving.com has them also cheap...they worked well in one of my razors..cant remember which one as I have 4 of em..perhaps it was my superspeed flairtip
