My wife and this board did. Before I met my wife no one did. She saw me wet shaving one day, and she said I was not using enough shaving cream. She said I ws going to cut myself if I didn't. She bought me a Norelco Reflex to make shaving easier for me. I guess she thought I was having too much troub...

Do not Shave on a "Bad" Day

I should have known better. Yesterday was going bad. I was knocking things over; things were falling out of my hands, etc. You know those days. I decided to shave real careful. The Personna blade was on the second day. I have been getting 4 good days with my blades. It felt wrong. All of a sudden it...

Hi Sue, I will keep her in my prayers. You can email Lorraine LJL @ jesusheals@lifesongljl.org and ask to be put on her prayer list. She received her healing gifts from Padre Pio. She also has a website http://lifesongljl.org/start.html where you can get more information about her. She is a strict C...

I started out using ivory wih a squirt or two of Dr Bronners Liquid Soap. It worked fine for me. I got no nicks. That was a whole lot better than my Colgate Canned Goo.

I used to use the Mach 3 sometimes insead of my injector. I thought the cartridges were easier to find. But it was $10-$13 for a 4 pack of blades. I would use them when going on vacation. I would worry everytime used them because of the high expenditure. The shaves were good; but who can afford the ...

I had it once with a haircut. My wife insisted that I try it. It was actualy very nice. I always resisted because the blade always looked very sharp. I also remember going to a barbershop when I was a kid. They had a first aid display case. Everytime I went there, there were fewer and fewer firstaid...

All of the genuine injectors should give nice shaves. I have two with black plastic handles that serve me well. I bought them new in the 80's and 90's.

The black plastic handles should sell in the $10-$15 range. The other models with different handles and / or gold finish will sell for more.

Thanks for the great advice. The pumoping and swirling really does the trick. I love to pump, swish, twirl, and paint my face until I have a nice thick lather. Who would think hat shaving could be so much fun. It really is something to look forward to. I am getting more used to the DE now. I can do ...

Under the nose: I shave at a slight slant (NW-SE and NE-SW) on the first pass, and then horizontally (both directions) on the second pass, and upwards on the third/final pass. You can also push the nose aside or pull it up. I have always had trouble with my nose. I always started with short up and ...

I pumped the soap this morning. It did not take as long to swirl. I also lathered directly on my face to see what it was like. It was a good experiment, and felt nice. I think I will alternate between my jar, and my face depending upon my mood. It created a good lather, but got too thin after a few ...

I find that sipping a warm beverage helps. i said sipping not gulping. Drink it real slow; and swish it around your mouth.

Also, keeping the window open on a cool night.
