Re: New "Black Label" injector blades from Supply?
Oh, well, anticlimax. And I suppose this confirms these aren't from Feather. I definitely like the Schick Proline B-20's, so I'll guess I'll stick with those and whatever other Schick and Personna blades I have on hand. Plastic tongue on an all-plastic pack? Really! In an ideal world, the Proline bl...

Re: New "Black Label" injector blades from Supply?
Just to recap - is Feather our only guess so far for these blades? I feel only semi-confident about it, but feel fairly confident that it's not Kai. There may be someone at this forum who knows who makes what in Seki City, Japan, but that doesn't mean they're reading this. I remember corresponding y...

While at the Feather website, I stumbled on this little video:

Re: New "Black Label" injector blades from Supply?
I'm going to guess they're made by Feather, because the blades are "from the world-famous steel working capital of Seki City, Japan." Feather has a factory there, and Kai does not. Seki seems to be like Sheffield or Solingen as a center for blade making. Or it's another manufacturer. I cou...

New "Black Label" injector blades from Supply?
My recollection is that Supply sold unlabeled Personna injector blades to go with the injector razors they make. They're the size of the old Schick injector razors, unlike the wider razors like the Cobra that use Artist Club size blades. These new injector blades they're now offering are Japanese, a...

Re: Swede's - I had forgotten
Try the Schick Proline P-30 blades, from Japan. That's the size that fits the Artist Club razor, and the B-20 is the standard injector size.
They shouldn't be too hard to find online.

Re: A new adjustable injector razor - from Parker
Pal and Personna were both brand names of American Safety Razor, and I'm almost certain the Pal and Personna injector razors were the same thing.

Re: Schick Slim Twin revisited - Great result
I think I've only seen non-adjustable Slim Twin cartridges. They do have a little thing you push to get out hair from between the blades.

Re: A new adjustable injector razor - from Parker
Looks like they have re-created the old Personna Adjustable. I have one somewhere, but never use it as it is too aggressive for me. C. I have one of those Personna adjustables, and I must have tried it a few times, but my recollection is that the adjustment is backwards from what you would think it...

Re: Schick Slim Twin revisited - Great result
Gary, are you talking about the old Slim Twin non-disposable razor handle? The Slim Twin cartridge was very similar to the Gillette Atra, and the blade was the same width, but the cartridge overall was noticeably more compact. I don't know if the twin blades were closer together. If I remember right...

Re: A new adjustable injector razor - from Parker
The Schick Proline blades are made in Japan, and I found them especially good, and well worth trying. The hassle is that they come in packs without the key to open the razor, but I keep an empty regular injector blade pack or two so I can transplant blades.

Re: Squire's Blade Reviews
Gillette bought some of the blade manufacturers (e.g., Polsilver and Astra), and moved production to Russia while keeping the same brand names. They're generally still worth trying.

Re: A new adjustable injector razor - from Parker
Murray, I hope it will go low enough for you. Like Spinal Tap's amplifier that goes to 11, maybe the razor will go to Negative 1. :) With 40 free blades, the razor is a very good deal if you like the blades. I don't remember if you ever tried the Schick Proline B-20 blades on an injector razor, but ...

I want to add a link to Mantic's article at his Sharpologist website about the razor, but I don't see a way to edit what I just posted above.

Re: Who Makes this Razor?
You can get it online from Dollar Tree, but the minimum order is 36:

You could ask at a store if they can order it, or they might happen to have it on the shelf.

Re: Who Makes this Razor?
By odd coincidence, I just saw something very similar on eBay that also claimed to be stainless - a Nautica TTO, from the same company that makes shirts, etc.
My guess is that it's Chinese and made from chrome plated pot metal, possibly the same razor I got at Dollar Tree.
