Dr Moss,
I assume that you have this scuttle from Classic Shaving, or one like it. I'm wondering how you like it and how well does it work for you? I was thinking about getting one, but I'd like to hear about it before I drop $70.00 for it. Thanks!

Rick, After reading your reply, I agree. You're probably right. My own experience is not like yours. The difference for me between the M3, whatever version, M3, M3T, or M3P, all the same for me. I can get a decent shave, even a really close one. I can get a closer shaves with the classic instruments...

The product I prefer is plain old Nivea Face Cream in the blue tin - the same stuff your mother, grandmother and great grandmother have probably used. After washing my face with soap and warm water, I dab a small amount of the Nivea on my face before applying a shaving cream/soap by brush. . . . IN...

The bristle appears to be basically stained a darker hue, especially in the center of the crown. It's a drag aesthetically, although it doesn't seem to have significently effected performance. Personally I don't care about aesthetics of my brushes, as long as the brush performs well and I enjoy the...

The second week with the PS blades feels more like a trad. straight razor shave I get the same impression because you get used to it using the Feather that long. But then I'm shocked by the harsher shave the next time I try a traditional str8. When I use str8s for a while and go to the Feather, I h...

Re: First shave with Feather AC DX - thanks for the tips
the Feather is not nearly the unforgiving beast that so many posts here make it seem. I'm convinced that the "unforgiving" moniker is just a result of attitude. If you enjoy sharpness and are willing to adjust your shaving style to get it, there is no such thing as unforgiving. If you exp...
