I haven't tried the new formulation. I started out using the original stuff though, and C&E for about two or three years before finding SMF.
I'm actually working on an old pot of TBS right now as I'm trying to use up my creams.

UPDATE: I was able to find an HD Rocket. Seeing as they are very similar to the #58, I think I'll settle with it. Looking forward to trying it out soon.
Hopefully my Super Iridiums work well in it, since it's really the only blade I use now.

Thanks for your reply Gordon. Also, thanks for all the sage advice and guidance you've brought (and so many others have brought) to SMF. When I first came to SMF, I was clueless when it came to colognes and such. Now shaving is enjoyable. If only I could have tried stuff like Floris #89 etc. before ...

I haven't had any problems loading my N1 so far, (with the Chinese Schick blades) I don't use it that often though.
I think i'll give my EJ De89L a break and use the N1 for awhile.
