I was using mainly soaps because you don't have to wash bowls etc. But now I used the pot as soap and got good results! From now and on I am going to be using more creams that way!

I think knot size is relative. My Omega boar 48 has an 30mm knot but my shavemac 24mm is much bigger. My pure badger is 23mm but still is much smaller than my shavemac. After using the new shavemac all the time switching to boar, make me rethink that the boar isn't as good as I remember on the "feel" factor.
Nice shave though

I thought Harris is the best until I tried Tabac.

It's a great, great soap. I get the best results with it, but the scent is strong that's why I don't use it every morning, I don't want to get dizzy. I can use it every afternoon though....
