I ordered a sample of the cologne. To me it smells like "The Third Man" with rose instead of lavender.

The thing is that essential oils are often hard on the skin and many natural perfume ingredients (well civet anyway) require a fair amount of cruelty to animals. A pure synthetic may be both healthier and more socially responsible.
