Truthinator, The soap in the the picture you posted above is commonly referred to here as the "English Made" Yardley as opposed to the "American Made" stuff which comes in plainer packaging and is sold at a much cheaper price. Both are good quality, but you should know that the ...

Yardley English Lavender Soap

How do I know which is the American and which is the English version?
Is this the English verison? I know it says English Lavender but I read on this very board that this doesn't mean anything.

Yeah, it 'lingers'....it's like Oil of Olay....a heavy moisturizing lotion. Let me know how you like the 'HIS'. My wife wears the 'HERS' on occasion. BTW...a very nice, albeit quite old fashioned, cologne for the gals. Regards, Gordon Hey Gordon, I am wearing the HIS right now. It is a nice scent b...

Gotcha Max, I just saw "which Merkur do you prefer" and you know where my mind went. I love that photo in the post you made about the barberpole slant...can't wait. I actually copied that photo from a German website that already sells the 39C. I think I would prefer the Slant with the sho...

Hi everyone, I found a vendor that still sells Coates. They got six tubs of Limes and one tube of Sandalwood left. Now here's the rub (at least for me): I can't pay them via paypal or credit card and they won't accept money transfer. So, my proposition would be to give away the name of my source to ...

The correct SMF answer should be...Buy both and post your personal experience and opinions for all of us to read. :P
I would be more than delighted to accept your generous financial investment to realize this test report. :D

That's insane, a vendor has already posted in the Shopping forum with a much much more reasonable price.
It would be insane if they converted that into dollar. Considering how weak the dollar is right now, this model would cost almost 90$.

is there a drawback to the extra weight of the Barber pole 38C? I can't tell you from my own experience, because I haven't used it yet. But people who use this razor usually report that it is a tad more aggressive than the HD. Wether that is good or bad for you..., well, you know the answer to that...

No shave today, just a little bit of Floris No. 89 (sample). It smells pretty good, but not good enough for me to buy a whole bottle of it.

I have just completed a trade with Jonny. Great communication and fast shipping. It was as much a joy to "negotiate" with him as it was receiving the items.

Thanks, Jonny!

Yes I agree, If you love the heft, size, weight, and length of the handle of the slant but are just unsatisfied with the actual razor's head, I would definately say go with the HD. Well, it's not that I am unsatisfied with the head, you see. I quite like the Slant, it's the best razor I have used s...

WTT For Penhaligon's/Trumper's Cologne Samples

The title says it all. I have these three creams to offer.

I would really like to trade them, it would be a pity to throw them away.

Shipping would be to Germany
