Yeah I scrub it in just like I do on the first pass. That makes a lot of sense to me, thank you. Tomorrow I will "paint" it on, nice and easy for the second and third pass. Thanks, I'll let you know how it turns out.

Everyones face reacts differently to creams. With that said, I hate the 1805! Please no yelling, just my humble opinion. :D I have two Taylors here, shave shop and Lavender. I like them both. My friend has Trafalger and it smells amazing!! But that shave I had with 1805 has me running scared from T&...

Hijacking the thread slightly: Does anybody know how long these typically take to ship internationally? I ordered in mid-April and have yet to receive my pack :( Well mine was shipped APO AE to Iraq, which means it goes to New York first, then carried by bird to, uhhh who knows, then sits somewhere...

I love Bremerton by the way, I use to live on Whidbey Island and we would go to Bremerton for some of the live music, submarine base and of course the ever so scary floating bridge. :D Jay I was stationed at NAS Whidbey back in the early 90s. Beautiful place, just rains too often. Ohhhhh!! Yes sir,...

Vintage blades
We all know who Vintageblades is, and you have no doubt been to his store and bought the new Merkur 38C for the great price he offered here to us lowly forum member. :D As I tend to do, whenever I have something good to say about an online company I like to spread the word to you guys. The same will...

I got my sample pack yesterday, and I do believe thats my face telling me it's due time to change out the blade in the almighty HD. I really am interested in the Cystals so I think I'm going that route first. DEsquire has a shave kit that has a very small bowl for mixing, I call it a cat dish for ho...

DEsquire is horrible at posting so I will just speak for him. He got his Sandalwood in last week. Now this guy is a Sandalwood fanboy, I mean he would eat the stuff if it meant he would sweat sandalwood. He has the shower gel for goodness sake! Anyway, he loves the scent, so do I. He has shaved with...

I gave a friend of mine some classic brand soap I got for free with the purchase of my bowl. He loves the stuff. So he just happened to be in the bathroom shaving as I was washing my face and getting ready to sleep. I asked if he minded me trying to lather up his soap, he of course did not. He is a ...

I just got my sample pack today, and though I am new I will say that I am glad I started with the Merkur's first. I get a great shave with them. That said, I have read about people who loath them, its really up to your face to decide. So in that instance I would venture to say that it really doesn't...

Getting a crust is easy my friends. All you need is a rub that sticks (thats why you need the olive oil) and a rub that has very little sugar (sugar burns at high temps) Turn your grill on and let it get super (duper, like the brush :D ) hot. Put your meat on, and here's the important part, LEAVE IT...

Yeah that should be under creams and soaps, I think. Anyway, its a sticky so its up on top. I have written to Trumpers and paid the shipping to get my samples, thats it. Floris of London and DEsquire are on good speaking terms and will send out samples when requested, I don't know about shipping cha...

Jay, Are you trying to catch up to Dr. Moss with the cream buying? That is far too much for one person to have over here! I must insist that you get rid of some of it, I'm sure there's some type of military regulation about having so much shaving product! I will be more than happy to keep you out o...
