gordon is correct. i had a steep learning curve with the DE. #1 problem was i was pushing the head of the razor into my beard. i did not learn what using no pressure meant until i used straights, and then when i went to a DE, i realized that i was using pressure on the beard. the mach 3 turbo would ...

i used the lavendar stick tonight. with a feather straight. it was different rubbing it over the face and then generating lather. it petered out after the third pass, but it was a good shave. does the lavendar smell to you like lemon? i was thinking more floral but i got more of a citrus/acidic smel...

DA CUBE. charles roberts cube, though i did not get it from him. it is a soap made from like 72% vegtable oil, chock full of glycerin. lots of discussions were had in wetshavers about it. some guys load up their brush with the cube and then use a dollop of cream. it never did anything for me. so the...
