Saturday evening we were sitting outside with some of our neighbours when suddely a badger came strolling up the road along our garden fence, before it vanished in a large thicket futher up the road heading for the forrest beyond.

It was very exciting!

edit: I had left the shaving cream on the sink only to find the kids had used up the tube playing in the bath

Synthetic lanolin is classified as a comedogenic (causes acne) and can cause irritation while natural lanolin (anhydrous lanolin) does not.

Petrolatum is also a comedogenic.

I don´t mind the heavier balms and quite liked the T&H balms, but that was a couple of years ago.

I just noticed that T&H also have a classic balm in a 200 ml bottle and was wondering if anyone has any experience with it? I assume it's the same type as the other balms, but with a 'classic' scent.

I'm really looking foreward to this week as the group stage comes to a close. Some surprise exits so far and more to come! IMHO, the saving grace of these soft Italian soaps in hard water is their glycerin content. It provides the slickness that will escape a hard soap user without using more product. I *think* with hard soaps the glycerin is more a trace ingredient and may be saponified and therefore not as effective....
