The NRA's sincere and respectful response

Be sure to check out the response by Wayne LaPierre about the terrible event in Connecticut. Hopefully somebody here knows how to post the link from YouTube to show the response in its entirety.

Keep the families in your prayers.

Blue Tooth

I was listening to Kim Komando the Computer goddess on the radio. She told us that there was no reason to spend the extra money on the Bose blue tooth system, because the quality can only be "so good" as a result of compression and other techie speak. Most people can not tell the differenc...

I don't care who you are, that was funny. Poor kid, one day he will be old enough to drink the beer, not just hold it for dad.

Follow up

I checked on the Thayers Lemon/aloe, but the store that the internet led me to had Rose petals/ aloe, Cucumber, and Lavender. They were out of Lemon/ aloe. I will find it locally though. Ebay had the expensive french cologne for $1300.00 / bottle! Not a quart sized bottle either! Old Spice has been ...

Experimenting with scents

I don't usually use cologne because of all of the scents from shampoos and conditioners, aftershaves, and deodorants, and dryer sheets etc. It's time to step it up a bit. It seems common on here for people on this sight to wear floral scents. As for myself, maybe I'm old fashioned, but I'm just not ...

Ditch the pharmaceuticals. Lift weights. Gravity is free. Start slow and go with how you feel. Mid-50s here and I'm in better shape than most 30s. And it boosts testosterone. Trust me, you'll feel it. Check out YouTube videos like gym junkies, or Blender. Both of which you can do at home ...

Who would have thought that the topic of the Gentlemen's parlor would be about how you got rid of "Your" skunks. I'll bet that Jeff Foxworthy has already covered this one on his web sight!

Skunks

Just a guess, try drilling a small hole in the floor and drop a funnel in it to pour ammonia down there. Be sure that they are no longer under there before sealing off their entry hole.

Wendell, do you think some prankster may have swapped out the MWF for some lye soap?

Somebody would earn a one way ticket to hell to do that to the Evangelist!

MWF is different, but It works great. With my water, (I don't know if it's hard or soft.) It makes a thin, dense lather. Nothing like the kid in the Mr. Bubble commercial. It holds plenty of water and one cake lasts a long time. I've never experienced the squeaky clean feeling. The lanolin takes car...

Squire summed it up in just a few words.

The only thing that I'd add is that the few minutes of self indulgence is a real morale booster to start the day.

The semi-scientific search for the favorite blade.

A few months ago I bought a variety pack of different blades. I believe I can say that my favorite are Feathers and a distant second are the others. I just don't seem to tell a noticeable difference in most of the other more common blades. Its hard to fairly compare a 5 day old blade to one fresh ou...

I have a Honda. It's only 2 yrs old. The handles meet me at my pants pockets. I'm 511" tall. It's tremendously awkward to mow "Underhanded". It's nor adjustable either. It starts in the first 5 pulls usually. In the last 5 years I managed to kill a Honda Generator and a Honda pressure...
