I saw that Quintippio ad, I believe it had Fifteen blades. It was fodder for one of the electric razors. I had to chuckle when he raised that monstrosity up in the air and his eyes got big. I was wondering when someone was going to make a mockery of the escalating multiblade war.

Brofro, sounds like you have done your homework and have gotten good advice here and in previous posts. Couple other things I might suggest(if you haven't already tried): Check in with a skin doctor who is familiar with problems similiar to yours. If you see someone at work or out and about that has...

Welcome Bastida, glad to have you join, great bunch if gents here. I hope you like your Gillette when it arrives. I have a couple of them and they are currently my favorite. The extra length of the handle seems to suit me better. I wish you well in your shaving progression.

Rich, I, too, have experienced the pulling that you are refering to. It only happens after a skipped day of shaving. I have found that when I knock off some stubble with my Remington, the problem has completely gone away. Mind you, I only just lightly go over my beard a few times. I then pick a DE o...

Gents, I have always had a problem with hard water and while I could get a good lather, I had to work at it . I have found that Baking Soda helps in making a fuller more fluffy lather. I usually put about half a teaspoon in a small cereal bowl that has hot tap water in it. I stir it around a couple ...

Congrats on the news Chris. What a wonderful blessing. If it is a boy, I am sure this group will help you pick out a nice traditional baby cologne and razorless shave set. Might I suggest a x-small Vulfix super. One need not upset the little ones skin with one of those prickly Silver tip Manchurians...

Gents, while I don't practice RMWS, it is possible that some of the methods used can be beneficial, if not now, maybe in the future, as they, like the rest of of, are constantly evolving. Their method seems to be very specific, requires certain tools and knowledge of a common language. If a gent can...

Joel, I , sad to say, did not have the coin to purchase a bottle. You see, my money problems stemmed from having already stormed through Nordstrom's and Caswell Massey. I guess next time I will have to make BB my first stop. I have had the opportunity to use their tester bottles though(more than I w...

Randy, I sprayed some on a tester card and it seemed nice enough. Although I am one of those who is challenged by describing scents, I found it pleasant. It does not seem to be one of those polarizing scents; sort of middle of the road. This one will not make my buy list, although it seems wearable.

Gent's, its good to hear that 1818 is still available. I was at one BB outlet(Gaffney, SC) last week and they had the tester behind the counter and said that it was no longer going to be offered? Today, I was over in Charlotte at Southpark and the BB store had 12 bottles. Sounds like some company mi...

Gents, I read where someone uses those Chinese beads to help keep track of their blade usage. I found a cheap counter (three seperately controllable digits) at the flea market. It decidedly helps me keep track of my blades on my main razors. Now if I can only find one with 12 digits. :D I guess unti...

Patrick, some of those adjustable injectors seem to be going for quite a lot on ebay. These seem to be somewhat rare in the States. While I would like to have one, I believe I will pass at those prices. I have a late 40's gold plated injector with a bakelite handle that I use in my rotation. It is a...

Rich, I am glad you finally got a shave that you are happy with. I would definitely go with what works for you. Give the M3 a week or so to make sure you don't ingrowns from it, as they sometimes will not pop up right away. Quite a few gents seem to like the m3 and even though I can't use one, I don...

Well gents, I got around to using KMF with my Savile super. The brush really wakes this stuff up (had to use more water than normal). I had a great shave with it today, along with a Gillette adj and Feather blade. It won't be replacing my Taylors or Trumpers, but it is definitely a good cream for th...

Strive, I agree with Gramps. Use products that you know don't irritate you and simply add one new product at a time. Test each routine for a few days. Just keep adding your new stuff (one at a time)slowly until you have found your culprit. A lot of the real good smelling stuff has quite a bit of EO'...
