Have You Shaved Someone Else?

Hello gents-- I'm starting to work on a video about how to shave someone else. Not like a barber mind you, this would be more like shaving someone who couldn't shave themself due to age or disability. I want to make it a pleasant experience but probably not a BBS shave kind of thing (though perhaps ...

WTB - Schick Krona, E-1 Superspeed

Greetings-- I am looking to buy a Schick Krona DE razor in very-good-to-excellent visual condition. It needs to be in good visual condition (or at least something I can clean up to look good without too much effort) because I want to use it in an upcoming video & Sharpologist post. I would like ...

Hey Gary, How does the Cobra do compared to the R41? I'm looking into the Cobra myself. The R41 is a little uncomfortable (unpredictable) for me. Vic I just read your previous question on the Cobra and Phil (bullgoose) answered. I'm working with Michael on a loan now. The same one that was passed a...

As a counter-point to the OP (and something I was thinking about a couple days ago by coincidence), who are the long-established vendors (going back to the old MSN Wetshavers days) that are still around? Offhand I can think of:
Leesrazors
QED
Emsplace (Shaveplace)

17 days but you've been doing it since Jan. 9? (sorry, had to tease you a tiny bit.)

Seriously, congrats! I've been struggling with "middle life" (*cough*) weight gain myself. :(

I tried the "sagebrush" cream this morning (w/New Forest brush, Progress Razor, IP blade). Pretty good shave! The scent is unusual and may not be for everyone: I got mostly sage and cedarwood but there's an under-current of pine and some other "herbal" note. I'll be rotating thro...

I have them both, and I feel much safer using the Cobra, even though the razor itself feels somewhat unwieldy due to the width of the head... I agree with this. I also have both, and while they are both very aggressive the R41 can be just plain mean if you don't have your technique spot on. (As a m...

I did a review of Authentic No. 10 back in October. I think it's excellent. It's a brushless cream that is "brush friendly" (and I think really benefits from using a brush). The scent is pretty subtle and "generic" but it works really well for me.

Great article. The publicity is welcome, particularly to involve the younger men. As always, SMF members Lynn Abrams and Mark "Mantic" stepped up and provided encouragement and credibility to the article. The writer and I talked on the phone for about an hour. I'm mildly annoyed that she ...
