OK, I just bought some Blenheim Bouquet EdT on the SS forum, and when I get it I'll try diluting it with the alcohol/water mix. Wish me luck.

Thanks, Squire. How much of the alcohol/water mixture would you suggest I use to dilute a half ounce of the EdT? Extrapolating from online recipes for making one's own aftershave, it appears that I probably could dilute the EdT with an equal volume of either witch hazel or your alcolhol/water mix.

Well, I already use aftershaves, but the scent only lasts a couple hours at most. Are you suggesting I dilute the EdT in my hands with water?

Converting EdT to Aftershave

My skin won't tolerate colognes or EdTs (4-8% perfume oils); I get rashes. However, I sometimes see them listed at good prices. Since I can wear most aftershaves (1-3% perfume oils) without a problem, is there an easy way to dilute the EdT and convert it into an aftershave? Perhaps adding alcohol? I...

I'm sorry if I detracted from the essence of the thread, which is that Andrew got a very nice brush and is happy with it. Especially with the initials it looks great, and size being between a Chubby 1 and a Chubby 2 sounds very attractive.

Very nice brush. I've had several RV brushes, and the handles and workmanship have always been excellent, although I'm not particularly fond of TGN knots. Hi John - just curious as to what your experience of TGN knots led you to not be fond of them... There was just something about the feel of the ...

Rough game. I had a college roommate who was 6'8" and weighed 270 pounds, and I saw him turned upside down and dumped on his head during a rugby match.

For density and backbone, you really can't beat a Chubby. And they change hands here fairly frequently. You might want to put up a WTB ad to get a deal.

I'm not really content with postimage.org, because I can't figure out how to post larger images from my computer rather than just the clickable thumbnail. Could someone please give this ignoramus some simple directions for posting an image to SOTD from Photobucket? TIA.

I would be interested in this information too. I have a Tulip 4 that has lost nearly all its lettering, and I would think about restoring it somewhat if I knew how. Perhaps Gary has some ideas?
