Glad to hear that you are up and running again with your Fender, Wendell. I am a self taught guitar player and I play a Zager Acoustic/Electric. Been playing it almost daily for 3 years now and I still love it.

Why would somebody come onto a forum which appears to be all about "traditional shaving", ie...DE and Straight, and post some such nonsense as this? Looks like it should be on a modern throw away razor forum.

I'd rather have my tongue torn out by the roots than to shave with any of the canned goo on the market. YMMV

Welcome aboard, Jack. Sorry to hear that some were not too friendly and welcoming to you. Oh, and by the way, the Gillette safety razor and Pinaud are both products that I use, and I find them to be excellent.

Hmmm....Balut. As a young U.S.Marine stationed in Subic Bay, I once ate balut straight off the fingers of one of the local Olongopo lovelies. It tasted like what it was......a duck egg well past its prime. Yuck!

When you first mentioned the ear ring in this story, somehow I knew, that by the end of the story she would take it off. Turns out, I was right. Sometimes I amaze myself. :)

Wendell- I see that you not only have good taste in shaving gear but also in movies. But I just want to mention that I also listen to Christmas music year round. Jesus is important to me year round, so I celebrate Him thru music.

I learned to drive at our family farm on a Farmall Cub tractor. Once I got the hang of it I transitioned to my grandaddy's 1950 sumthin Chevy pickup. To this day I still enjoy driving a truck with 3 speed on the column. Fond memories.
