Re: Grateful dead off key?

I had a professor in my MBA program at Nova Southeastern that had in his office...over 500 recordings of Grateful Dead concerts. He claims no two are the same and that it shows how they are the perfect example of a team. He once gave a presentation in class on this very topic...How the Dead's shows ...

Re: Current hair care regimen and products

Growing my hair out a bit.

So my hair is getting harder to manage.

Went out tonight, and bought a couple of Fructis products. We will see how this happens and how they work.

Prayers offered up for a favorable diagnosis - and no surgery!

Re: Sciatic nerve and inverstion tables

Jason, Ask your chiropractor about foam rolling. My youngest daughter is a chiropractor - specializing in sports medicine, sports injuries, etc. and she is on me to use ours. My knee hurts - she looked at it over the weekend. The muscles that she concentrated on were on the opposite side of my knee...

Re: Sciatic nerve and inverstion tables

So I have had three treatments with the chiropractor. I could lay there and let them use that electrical stimulation on my lower back for hours and take a nap. I can tell a difference. But the feeling that my right knee is going to completely give still nags me. I am really thinking my issue is piri...

Re: One of many favorite songs from the past

All of the songs I grew up on were from the 80s.

So I grew up on Tears for Fears, Huey Lewis, Journey and the like.

I listen to 80s on 8 quite a bit.

Re: A Summer of Queen

I am so sorry to hear about your wife, jthomas.

Queen is still one of my favorites even though their hay day was about the time I was born.

Freddie Mercury might have been the most gifted vocalist of all time.

Enjoy your time with your daughter....and Queen, of course.

Re: Taking a break from the news

I got fed up with constant rehashing the election by one of my friends. The only way to clean up my facebook was to unfriend her. (Several posts daily). Pete, I did the same thing yesterday. some folks can't adapt to change as readily as others, which crates a bit of turmoil. Yeah...what he said.

Should be freed up a bit...

Work has been crazy lately. We have had a little turnover here at the office. So of late I have been working for two , if you will.

A little relief starts today. My workload literally cut n half.

So I should be able to hang out here with you gentlemen more often.

Lots of truth in that. However, many seem to think they have much more importance and influence than they actually possess.

Black mildew

For several years, my shower has had a problem with black mildew. I clean it up every month or so.

What can I do to prevent it from coming back? Do I need to squeegee my shower after use?

Question about rags

This is a question related to showering...so I thought I would stick it here.

If this is not the right place...let me know and I will move it.

What cause a rag when it dries to get stiff? This has happened for years and its sort of annoying. Is it something with the soap?

Re: Sciatic nerve and inverstion tables

I do not know about the effectiveness specifically with sciatic nerve pain. But I have a friend who is a colonel in the army that swears by his inversion table. He has put me on it a few times. I have lower back soreness and pain myself. I will likely purchase one myself in the near future.

Re: Your best concert experience

I would think that those Queen shows with Freddie could not be topped. He commanded a stage like no one else ever has. I have not taken in many concerts. My musical interests are wide and varied. The two best concerts I have ever seen are were with Chris Botti at the Ryman in Nashville a few years a...
