Re: Praise due for Floris No.89 shave soap

I have always been lucky with the Floris soaps , and I truly enjoyed the N89 too , even with the infamous "Sodium Palmate" formulation as a first ingredient. Now all the Floris soaps are Palm oil based (no Sodium or Potassium Sterate anymore) but seems to be decent performers.A pity I miss...

Re: El Druida Michelle in Olive wood with synthetic knot bru

Thank you , gentlemen.I can honestly tell you that the handle is beyond gorgeous once you can see it in "person" and this brush performs like a champ.I have seen the same handle with different badger knots (two band and silvertip premium) and look fantastic too.

Re: Coate's Tea Tree, Sandalwood, Lime, Rose, Almond & Laven

Teiste, interesting. How many tubes of Coates would it take to fill up a regular sized pot? Im going to order some limes and dont know if 6 or say 9 would work. Any idea? For a 200 ml tub , 4 of those creams will be more than enough.I do cut the tubes and scoop the remaining shaving cream inside too.

Got my creams on Saturday and used them yesterday. They are all in perfect condition.I pass 4 to a tub of TOBS lavender which I finished like a week ago , so perfect timing for that. The scent is very similar to T&H lavender shaving cream , the best lavender shaving cream I have tried , alongside ...

Thank you for the news , sir.

Like the performance , price , but dislike the scent.I find T&H N10 to perform like this cream but better scent (citrusy).

Re: Proraso

Thanks for everyone's comments thus far. So is the reformulated product worth a look over the older version that I have, do you think? I'm really not too happy with how mine is performing. Gareth Well , if you can find the old Proraso/Omega soap with lanolin , then you will have the old Santa Maria...

Re: Proraso

Are you trying the old Proraso (no lanolin) or the new reformulated one? I find the new one to be as good as the UK shaving creams in terms of skin care protection and slickness of the lather.Am I a big fan of it? Not at all , but once in a while I like to use the new Proraso cream and soap.BTW , Ba...
