Looks great! Vermont Castings has the highest reputation for their wood stoves, so I bet that this will be very well made as well.

Squire, he told me that he sends everything Priority Mail. I'd rather save a few dollars and have it take a week, but I didn't want to make an unusual request for my first order.

I'm assuming you have a brush? Yes, NTS, I used a brush with hard soap for a number of years, although I can't say that I did it properly as shown in Mantic's video about lathering. Since moving to North Carolina, I haven't used the brush because the water is so hard here. Someone, I think Gordon, ...

I was in Rite-Aid again tonight, and I took a closer look at the blades that are ten for $9.99. They were Gillette Super Stainless made in Russia.

I take it you guys don't think much of those blades.

Squire, your friends at razorandbrush.com say this: This is the famous Korean Dorco double-edge blade. It is a high quality stainless steel blade, with Platinum edge treatment and PTFE coating. The Dorco ST300 is an amazingly mild and forgiving blade. It cuts close and gives an irritation-free shave...

Did you change cartridges as often as you now change DEs?

I assume that most DE users are former multi-blade cartridge users. Here is a link to a March 24 article about shaving in my local paper, the Raleigh News & Observer: http://www.newsobserver.com/lifestyles/fashion/story/1010973.html You will notice this quote early on: "Once the first blade...

Bonzo, they play in the Patriot League. I don't think there are any scholarships, but I could be wrong.

They've been pretty bad the past couple of years.

Norcross is 20 miles NE of Atlanta. Winder is 20 miles NE of Norcross.

I recommend that you at least consider Winder, where the real estate prices are still low.

Thanks, Squire. I'll look them up on the internet to see what else they offer. I went to my local Walmart again tonight, and this time I found ten-packs of Personna for $1.54. Also, they were down to just two VDH soaps, so someone else must be using them! Do you feel that VDH and Col. Conk are essen...

Squire, when you say "similar", how good a blade are we talking about?

I can afford $20. for 100 great blades, so I don't need to save a nickel a blade for a month of bad shaves. But I am curious as to how good the blades sold in common stores are.
