I soak every razor I acquire, regardless of finish, in Mar-v-cide solution for anywhere from a few hours to a day or two (if I forget!) and it has never damaged any, rhodium, gold, or plastic.

Why can't I ever find neat stuff like that? Good work!

It lathers really well, and there's something "rich" about how it smells. Maybe that's the coumarin Chris mentions? Whatever it is, I like it. BTW, the Irisch Moos cream (not the soap) has a similar musky richness that I really like also.

I have 2 tubes here--the menthol and the moisturizing. The menthol feels nonexistant, and the moisturizing is just so-so. They both have the same scent, which is lousy. I might throw them out. Hey Louee and Crackstar --- I was browsing around recently, and discovered the Menthol version of Real SC....
