About the blades and where to put them, I assume you are talking about caring for a blade during use? I keep a towel on the countertop and take out the blade between uses. If you are talking about blade disposal, keep your blade boxes or containers and tape them up before throwing them into the tras...

Re: For Offer - Silo doors for "D" Gold Fatboy
I recently obtained a D 3 Gold Fatboy (Executive right?) and was highly excited. That is, until I found out the adjustment mechanism was frozen. Well I took out the inner piece with no problem at all but even following instructions found on SMF (mostly from Tony of the Midas Touch) I was unable to ...

Blades
For a samle pack to try a variety of blades, go here: http://westcoastshaving.com/ I have been using Derby Extras for a while and they are good for what they cost. IMHO, they do a little better and last longer than the Personna blades from Wal-Mart. And, the Wal-Mart Peronna's will rust, regardless ...

FS: 48-50 Super-Speed - No Date Code - SOLD
Nice 48-50 Super-Speed No date code Notched bar for blades Plating is very good with faint scratches on the doors. No brassing except very lightly on the TTO knob. End caps look very good. Any brassy colors in the pics are due to the lighting. Function is excellent. Cleaned, soaked in Barbicide and ...

Shave Secret Shaving Oil
Have any of you tried Shave Secret Shaving Oil? I saw it at Wal-mart and picked one up. There are 8.75 ml in the bottle. I used it this morning and the results follow: Instructions say the oil is all you need on a wet face. They say nothing about prepping with pre-wash, hot water or hot towel, but I...

Someone recommended half and half of the the non-alcohol for sensitive skin and the menthol Nivea balm if the alcohol burns a little. I plan to try that soon and will post my personal results.

Re: WTB- 40’s-50's Gillett Tech Chrome or Trade
I would like to buy a 1940’s to 1950's Gillett Tech in Chrome in good to excellent condition, I would pay with a Money Order if anyone would be so kind as to part with one. Thank you, Sergio O.K. No bites, so I would be willing to trade a '57 SS, and I'll throw in some loose Feather blades. P.M. sent
