WTT: Strop Shoppe Baker Street

To preface this post, I am currently using TOBS (Avocado, Eton College, Mr. Taylors, Shaving Shop), Proraso (Red/Blue Tube, Red/White Tub), Cyril Salter Rose, Mystic Water Bay Rum, Tabac, 3P, and Mitchells Wool Fat. The Strop Shoppe soap is equal to any of these soaps. Amazingly thick, slick, comfor...

Strop Shoppe Baker St.

I recently pick-up a tub of this soap and it is hard to describe how good this soap is. I am currently using TOBS (Avocado, Eton College, Mr. Taylors, Shaving Shop), Proraso (Red/Blue Tube, Red/White Tub), Cyril Salter Rose, Mystic Water Bay Rum, Tabac, 3P, and Mitchells Wool Fat. Godrej shave creams have been enjoyed by many over the years and have a good reputation. A good value especially if you can find them locally at an Indian market. Gary, I believe the key is, "good value especially if you can find them locally at an Indian market". Some of the Internet pri...

Voskhod Blades - A Winner for Me

I had not heard of these blades until recently. I picked up some from Joe at Shaveabuck. For me this is an outstanding blade. I have one loaded in to a Krona and one in to a Gillette Long Handle Adjustable (setting 3). I have been using Proraso Red and Blue (tube), Proraso White (tub), and tonight T...

Re: Vulfix 2233s is great!

Chris,

Good to see shave gear is coming together. Over time it appears you have struggled to find the right razor/blade/brush/soap combination that works for you. If the current gear works, please stay with it for a while and not introduce another variable.
