Tuesday evening:

Hot shower

Razor: Merkur Futur

Blade: Derby extra (# 1)

Brush: Sephora Badger

Soap: L'Occitane Cade

AS: Old Spice

First shave with a Futur. In spite of my clumsiness, being a newbie, I had my best shave yet. On the other hand, every new shave is the best shave yet

Sunday evening

Hot shower/hot towel
Razor: Muhle R89
Blade: Derby #3
Brush: Sephora badger
Cream/Soap: L'Occitane Cade Soap
A/S: Old Spice

For now, Derby seems to be the best blade for me, smooth and forgiving; or maybe my technique is better, but my shaves improved dramatically later.

I'm using a Muhle R89 (with Feather blades lately:shock: ) for about 3 weeks now. I think I begin to master the angle of the razor and the leathering - yesterday I had the best shave yet.
I'm quite new to wet shaving.

I couldn't justify it either after I bought a Muhle R89, but I ordered it last week and now, I wait. Good wait.
