I picked up a tub of CM Sandalwood at a Tuesday Morning for a whopping $1 bill. I also picked up a couple tubes of CM Almond at Marshalls. They produce "decent" lather if you use more product than you usually would, say a couple of almonds instead of just one. If you like the scent of CM S...

When I ordered I picked up Iced Lime and June clover. I was one of the first to order from shavingessentials and my order came w/the June Clover 1/2 gone and the package in shambles (taped up by the usps in order for it to arrive in one piece). I received a sampe of OS w/my order and I like it so mu...

I have this aftershave scent as well and it's great IMO. Unfortunately, I've not run across any kind of shave soap/cream that even comes close to the scent. Pecksniffs makes an "oriental woody" shave cream (though it's really a hard soap) but I haven't tried it and I highly doubt the scent...

Joshua, Well, the Peterman cream was/is plainly, ultimately, a Creighton product, so the same issues we have noted in the recent past with several of the classic English creams would likewise apply here. Regards, Gordon I'm pretty sure there's an old thread around here where someone stated that the...

J Peterman consistency

I bought my first tub of J Peterman about a year ago. The stuff was almost the densest stuff I've ever used, about the consistency of the spreadable butter that comes in the tubs. Anyway, I recently ran out and just ordered my second tub. This ones about the same thickness as some of the "thinn...

The avocado & linden soap is very similar in scent and performance to Provence sante soap. I know that PS has linden in it as well, so that explains the scent. IMO though, save yourself some $ and get a puck of PS instead of the eshave. The creams however, and the scents of the creams, are top n...

This thread got me thinking again about deodorant, even though I've been happy with mine. Well, I decided to try the "crystal" deodorant and it was on sale for $4 at the local grocer (vs. nearly $7 each at Amazon). After using it over an active weekend, I'm very happy with this find. So f...

Just read a review over at B&B by a guy that picked up the Mandarin Patchouli last night, sounds like that one is definitely brushless and the other one is to be used w/a brush. I'm disappointed, being a big patchouli fan and all I was hoping they could both be used w/a brush, but it doesn't see...

Still looking.

I'm actually also intersted in Mr Taylors, Shaving shop, or Eton College creams as well.

SO, if you've got ANY of these Taylors creams in tubs (preferably at least 3/4 full) let me know if you're looking to trade/sell them.

BobS
They have pictures of brushes at the St James website in the background, so I'd assume they're made to lather. I'll have to pick these up.
