LeisureGuy, does the setting depend on the length of whiskers? meaning if i shave everyday, would the setting be lower than if i shaved every 2 or 3 days? 4hits, so i then have a 1963 Slim Adjustable, sound nice... my father wants to borrow it but i'm scared he might hold onto it longer than expecte...

new hear and just received my gillete (i2-1963) de razor. 1st shave is better than any shave from my schick krona. how do i find out if it's a fatboy, super speed, or something else? it's adjustable w/ 9 settings. also, how does one determine best setting?
