Re: Coming home and seeing the changes after two years…

Buzz, +1 on Colonial Some stores locally, in Memphis, the stock is always out of something. You can go to a grocery store and it has nothing of say Harry's Shave Cream, and go to the same Kroger about 5 miles away and they are fully stocked. Target always seems to have a new brand of shave stuff, bl...

Chanel line

I find myself gravitating to Chanel colognes. Have had their Coromandel and the Antaeus for years. I do not find Antaeus now to be as animalistic as it was back in the day. More floral than anything now. Coromandel can be described as white chocolate and patchouli. Each projects and lasts very well....

Re: Blackstone grill

Nice. I’ve thought about a Traeger since it’s easier to start up a fire. But a Blackstone would allow for cheesesteaks for 4 people a lot easier. And since it is using propane much faster

Terre d'Hermes eau de toilette

6.7 ounce size, about 95% remaining. $95.00 shipped CONUS

Sorry, the bottle does not have any writing on it to show the size, thus the pic with the tape measure. I did not keep the box it came in

Re: Essence of Limes

Same experience with Chris on the fleeting nature of lime and more generally, citrus scents. Love the lime in Trumpers shave cream. But in colognes, I prefer orange or grapefruit, and lemons. Apple does not do well and currants are okay to me. Loving me some Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne and can...

Re: The end of Tabac original formulation

I loved Tabac back when I was using straights. I have an artisan soap my daughter got me and when used up, I am seeking out a new soap, and will consider Tabac if not too pricey

Got me one last bar of the Mitchell's Wool Fat soap for the face

Re: Breaking the Seal

L'Chaim. Back in the days when I first met, online of course, Chris Moss and Gordon, there was a guy named Donnie C. who was a retired NYC policeman living in Florida. He called me one time and, well, since I am an attorney, it was kinda easy to get my number off the Internet, even before Google. He...

I had a number for him once and last I recall, when I called, it said disconnected. He was in Tampa and I met him for a dinner one night at a mall and a sandwich at a deli in the mall. Nice guy.

Chris I pray you will keep trucking on I saw something about elderflower. I have some Zym immunity tablets that I mix with water in elderberry flavor. I quite like that flavor.

Re: Simpson synthetic

Well I bought a synthetic from one of the guys on the forum, Verdman, a tuxedo knot with a resin handle and it does very well. You know I’ve been reading some of the threads about badger hair now not being the best unless you want to spend a lot. I’m thinking more of a fun brush that I can take on t...
