I've got a 15c and I love it. Yes it's a little mild, but pair it with a sharp blade and it performs wonderful. The 11c has a heavier handle so it does effect the shave somewhat but with razors, like blades, ymmv. I wouldn't base your judgement on the reviews because everyone is different. It's all ...

I don't know why, but I always use lip balm after I shave... I guess it's a ritual habit... brush teeth, shave, lip balm. I don't really change much in my routine besides mentholated products when it's hot and non-drying balms when it's cold.

Okay gents, my curiosity got the best of me... I ordered 25 of these. Anyone want to test drive a pack of 5? I'll let you know when these arrive... they're coming from India so probably around 15-25 days. Just PM me if you want to try them. Edit: Almost forgot... anyone try Bluebird blades yet? I go...

Would you consider a trade? A blue-tip ss w/case for 200 of these babies? I really like the stainless version so I'm interested to try these.

Thanks

I may never use Gillette products again

With the Baltimore Ravens recent nail-biting lose to the Patriots in Gillette stadium I may never again use Gillette products. It's a shame too because my purchase of 50 7 o'clock super stainless blades arrived in the mail yesterday. Well, now that the game is over, time for a shave... I'm thinking ...

When my mornings are rushed and time is short, I reach for the Beard Buster: Barbasol. Not bad stuff IMO. After applying to my face I add a little water to the mix to make it a little less foamy and a little more creamy.

Sorry to bring out a dated post, but I'd just like to say that I've also had some unpleasant experiences over there too. When I started DE shaving a little over a year ago, this was the first forum I found and I'm glad it was this one. Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone on this. Anthony

It's been awhile since I've used a Bic DE blade, but from what I remember, my experience echoes yours. I don't think I ever got away without a nick or two... could be why I haven't used them in awhile.

The drawback as others have said, is that the skin feels 'burned' after a few days. I can't use them steadily as my sole blade and rotate among a selection of other makes of blades. +1... My skin is the same way. Anyone try/prefer SuperMax SS blades? I find them very smooth and sharp, yet not uncom...
