To be clear, the Ehsan is a two band, even though the handle is stamped "Best Badger".

There were also Ehsans made using the "Super Badger" stamped handles.

That's an excellent price on a fine two band brush. Great for bowl or face.

@Gareth.

Where I live the water is moderately hard. I rent a softener. Cost is about $17 a month.

I feel that is a very satisfactory price for the benefits. It may be something to consider in your circumstances.

As those who have used these soaps know, they're each excellent.

There are some differences, but they're excellent nonetheless.

+1 on Olympus.

However, which brand (Olympus, Sony) is really personal preference.

There are typically decent selections that span the price range at the big box store, Office Depot, etc.

I have an Olympus and find it generally satisfactory. IIRC, it was about fifty bucks.

BTW, any opinions on the Simpsons Wee Scot? I dismissed this brush early on because of its diminutive size, but this is what intrigues me about it still. I'm thinking that at the price it might be worth a whirl if just for its novelty value. I've had a Wee Scot for quite some time. It's a decor pie...

Thanks.

I'm trying to get images like this:

If I can do this with a PnS, then please steer me to a specific model.
I'll check into the G Series in the meantime.

@ Wendell- Thanks for the reply. I've used two Nikon Point and Shoot cameras and most recently, a SonyDSC-WX9. NONE of them produce the crystal clear close up shots that I want. I know the pix exist. I see them regularly. Perhaps its operator lack of training. I've tried reading the manuals (on line...

Canon Rebel XSi? Opinions?

Hello- I'm thinking I need a DSLR. I had a Sony Alpha A200. I just could get along with it. So, I gave it to my daughter in law. I can't really afford a new camera so I'm thinking about a used Canon EOS Rebel XSi. Good choice? Comments? Advice? What I really want is to be able to take nice sharp clo...

I believe the item that pleases me most in the wetshaving genre is this cabinet that I picked up at a junkfest a couple years ago. The seller literally lifted it from the hands of a would be buyer because I spoke sooner. I dismantled, rebuilt and refinished it. It does a fine job storing and displa...

Congrats on the "new" brush. And kudos to master Bernd as well.

Great looking new handle. Congrats.

I completely agree with what you've done by replacing it. The stock Muhle handle left me feeling less than secure.

I've used both a Tradere and am Ikon handle on mine. Either is a significant step up.

Wendell-

My recommendation is for Queen Charlotte Soaps.
Excellent scent, fine lather, reasonable price.

Tallow and Palm oil.

Good luck,

I don't know how you define a "decent sized deck". Most SP mowers are 21 inch.

I have, and feel confident, recommending a Honda. Ours it so easy to start that my wife can easily start it and mow with it. This is a good thing for me...obviously.

A while back I swapped for a coconut soap like this.

It was a good deal. I really like this soap. If you're thinking you might want to try it, go for it.

I expect you'll enjoy it as well.

Just my two cents...
