wiggins totally bossed it yesterday and really stretched his lead. after the rest day today things will get very interesting in the alps on wednesday and thursday in particular. those down the GC pecking order know now that the only way they can get back to wiggins is to attack and try and gain time...

i think that the podium will be wiggins, evans, menchov. not sure what order, but those 3 will be the ones to fight it out i think.

things will start to become clear for the GC after the first big time trial - stage 9.

i have nothing against john personally. heck, i am sure he is a nice guy, but what is going on here is total hoarding, pure and simple, and it's now got to the point where it is to the detriment of other members. i find that distasteful, particularly when it is abundant that the man is clearly not s...

the monthly requests aren't a problem. it's the fact that they are now coupled with a specific request to any prospective selling member not to post an ad. that is is going too far and that is what i have the problem with. why would he be making this request not to post an ad other than to deny othe...

i have brushes that lose the odd hair now and again, but the only brush i've ever had and which i would classify as a 'shedder' was a shavemac. i ended up disposing of the brush eventually.

i have been listening to a lot of bert jansch lately. he is an amazing guitarist and songwriter. sadly, as of last year, no longer with us.

if you haven't heard his song 'angie' and like guitar, then it is worth checking out on youtube.

i have the vintage i.e pre 2000 reformulation and the post and they are both very different. the pre 2000 is much more smoky and sweeter. the post 2000 is sharper, with more citrus mineral. both are very nice and wearable. i have yet to try the latest incarnation and am intrigued. however just in ca...
