Blimey!

The only thing you missed out was the location.

I'm guessing it was on The Waltzers at the local fair?

I have tried Boots, Erasmic and Palmolive and my favourite is Palmolive . . . by a country mile.

Not only does it have a nice scent, it also lathers as you would expect it to AND it only costs pennies (50p ish).

As an option, I would re-check the direction that your hair grows on your neck.

You 'might' be shaving ATG accidentally.

Hello Ian.

The HD is a very nice razor - very 'blokey'. After trying a couple of vintage Gillettes I'm considering keeping just this one.

I can't comment on the brush but if my Chubby Best is anything to go by you will love it.

Enjoy.

I can't defend the shops (assistants) you mentioned, but help might be at hand.

If you go to the end of the arcade opposite Taylor's (Picadilly Arcade) you'll find a small shop called A Maitland - they might sell blades.

I know you can get Tabac soap from there :D

At the moment I have: 2 brushes (Kent BK4 / Simpson Chubby 1 Best) 4 razors (HD Rocket / Flare Tip Rocket / Slim Adjustable / Merkur HD) 3 s...
