Nice to hear, Ed. I'll second your thoughts about Teiste--he and I have had some great dealings and he is a super guy.
I'm not familiar with either of those soaps; I'll have to keep my eyes open for them.

Good performance (quality/slickness/stability of the lather) is #1, certainly...but there are so many great performers out there that scent is definitely a major factor as well. Skin conditioning is further down the list since we can use products after the shave to augment the soaps/creams.

I got a Wee Scot for Christmas, and used it a few times on a weekend trip. It worked well for me, but I can't imagine using something smaller. I can see that the Plisson handle might be difficult to grip!
