Telly has some now and then

Two of the three razors in my pictures came through him. In fact the photo of the 250 year Friodur is his photo I snatched after I purchased the razor!

Top drawer shavers in my opinion. I'll put them up against all comers. I prefer 13/16ths. For some reason I also tend to have a slight bias in favor of the ones with the 72 1/2 stamped on the shank rather than the tail. The Gulag Archipelago, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

I'm re-reading having first read some thirty years back. Chilling.

One of my high school classmates had a Saab 96 in 1964. Unusual automobile for small town rural Iowa where one rarely saw anything other than GM or Ford products and an occasional Nash, Dodge, or Plymouth. 2 cycle engine as I recall. About the only other foreign vehicles at the time were British Mot...

MAAS on a Q-tip should remove the spots, but keep away from the gold because MAAS will take that off also.

This is great! Welcome, Gary.

I was inspired to use my Duke 3 Best for my Christmas eve shave.

Of course it is my favorite soap brush, so I may well have used it anyway!!

Odd it was in one and not the other. The CVS in my town carries Clubman AS and Talc. Sadly, no longer Palmolive Red.

The sticks are very difficult to source. I have a black lable stick in the plastic case. This is only the second Yardley shave stick I've seen.

I've been using a Keurig mini at home and the office. As I only drink two cups or less a day I find it an acceptable alternative, plus the coffee is good. While it may not rise to the level required by some, all I really want is a good cup of Joe. While selection may be limited in stores, the place ...

My wife just completed two weeks in hospital, so I had time to read:

The Girl Who Played With Fire by Stieg Larsson.

Cormac McCarthy's All The Pretty Horses; The Crossing; Cities of the Plain; and No Country for Old Men.

Wait, the Avengers had other actors? All I saw was Diana Rigg and that cool Volvo Sport Wagon. Always did want one, the car that is.

I enjoyed many Tony Curtis movies. He and Jack Lemmon were a great combination.
