Thursday, Thanksgiving Day Morning!:

Vitos Soft Italian Soap
Simpson Special Best Badger
Gem Damaskeene SE razor
Gem SS ptfe (3)
'70s vintage Yardley AS (my last drops- finished the bottle)

A great shave. I had to finish the Yardley eventually; Thanksgiving Day couldn't have been more appropriate.

Interesting.

If I'm too busy in the AM for my blade shave (since once again shaving with a blade) my day simply isn't "right". I like to take the time.

If I ever had to go back to carts' I'm certain I'd revert back to shaving every 3 or 4 days.

I put 'em in a steel can that once held broth. Once the can is filled I will toss it in with the rest of my recyclable metal and plastics. Same used blade container I use, except mine held evaporated milk. Suitably washed of course. I used a Dremel cut off wheel to grind a slot, once they're droppe...

Wednesday AM: Vitos Soft Italian soap Handcrafted badger brush Gillette Black Handle SS Polsilver SI (5) Bay Rum Yesterdays shave with this blade in the Slim told me that I'd be lucky to get another shave out of it. So I decided to try backing off on the aggressiveness. I put it back in the BH razor...

Not sure, but I think they're saying it's dry and needs some water. Anyway, that's what ran through my mind when I first saw it. I like KMF, I don't know that I ever used glycerine with it. Never really had to. It's a pretty decent cream IMO. (cool mint) Too, it's quite useable with no brush or lath...

Re: Pick Your Stick Poll

They all seem to be highly rated and moderately priced. Who's your pick for lather quality and scent? Do you grate into a bowl or use as is? Stick to your guns and defend your answer! I voted for Arko simply for the best bang for the buck contest- it asked for favorite- that's mine. It's very diffi...

In todays litigious society it wouldn't surprise me one whit if it was to prevent lawsuits. Or even perform multiple functions with the one statement. Maybe someone needs to make a safety razor blade, that is one that won't cut and is completely unuseable. Whoops! Sorry, it slipped my mind, one manu...
