Re: Argan Oil

I've recently come into possession of a couple of RazoRock soaps ("For Chicago", "Don Donato", "Classic" and "Tobacco #1"), all which are new to me. All of them perform very well for me and I wondered what they might have in common. As it turns out, in the des...

Re: Placement of nylon washers for cosmetic reasons

I'm still lost about what a washer is? My guess is that it is some ring like thing we put in screw joints? Yup. They are made in many different sizes, thicknesses and materials. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2f/Washers.agr.jpg/220px-Washers.agr.jpg I never even clean my raz...

Re: Placement of nylon washers for cosmetic reasons

There is the Japanese notion of wabi-sabi . In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi (侘寂) is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection.[2] The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete".[3] It is a co...

Just finished Jojo Rabbit.
It was great.
I thought that 11-year old Roman Griffin Davis who played Jojo was amazing. He nailed it. It reminded me of watching Dakota Fanning in War of the Worlds.

Re: Shows I'm anticipating - new seasons coming soon???

Not a TV show, but a strong recommendation for those who can tolerate humour, satire, and catharsis. Go find a showing or buy a copy of Jojo Rabbit . I've got it bookmarked in Crave On Demand for future viewing. Glad to hear a positive opinion about it. Again on the topic of subtitles, for Japanese...

Re: Shows I'm anticipating - new seasons coming soon???

I highly recommend the German sci-fi show "Dark" on Netflix! The show begins with the disappearance of a child in the small German town Winden, the disappearance of the child is quickly revealed to be linked to a "time travel portal" under the town's nuclear powerplant. It's an ...

Re: Bath Soap Slivers

In our house the sliver is used until it's malleable when wet and slapped on the next cake of soap. That's what I do. I have noticed that once I get down to about 10% of a bar the performance drops off noticeably - less scent and less density in the lather. I don’t know if this is all due to less a...

An ancient thread, I know, but I found it while looking for Godrej on Google. I just tried some Godrej Shaving Round only recently. It does indeed make great lather. Compared to William's Mug, I find that William's will stay slick after it collapses, but Godrej looks better, and lathers up more quic...

The soap is their "Jardin d'Orange" scent.
Razor is a Black-handle SuperSpeed.
Still liking the Shaverboy blades.
