I have been reading up on this oil cleansing method, and decided to try it out. I have been looking into getting some olive oil soap, instead of the OCM method of using the olive oil + castor mix because it is pretty messy. Does anybody on here use olive oil soap? Just trying to get some feedback a...

'WHY' would you want to put a foreign substance in your body? and why would you want to prevent hair from growing? It's nature, we've evolved the way we have for a reason.

Teuton; Welcome to the forum and congratulations on a good start with wetshaving. Figuring out the correct blade angle for your particular skin will take some trial and error, but it looks like to did pretty well. The other thing is to use as little pressure as possible; that will keep away the raz...

FIRST WET SHAVE!!!

Hey folks, my kit arrived today (Merkur HD, Rooney Super Silver) and I just had my first shave. I used Florena shaving cream (tube) because my Proraso has not yet arrived. Ok, first I want to thank Mantic for his videos, they helped me a lot. I would say my first shave was pretty good, I only did tw...

Teuton, it depends on which bar you have. The flat green colored bars are just as strong scented as the soap on a rope. If you have the aqua blue colored bar then no it's not as strong nor is it the same scent. I don't know what came first but really the only difference was the size at one time and...

Musgo Real Body Soap

Just purchased a bar of this. I found a really good online retailer out of Vancouver. The bar IS tallow based so we will see how it is on my skin. I will let you guys know what I think. P.S. I chose this over the soap-on-a-rope because I heard that the aforementioned is stronger smelling which i don...

An old-style scuttle has a soap tray on the top, and a place on the bottom for the brush.
Is there an advantage to the scuttle? Thanks

Take a look at Etymotic canal phones. They are the best for blocking out noise. If you don't like canal phones than any sealed can will do. Sony does a line of DJ cans but they really aren't 'true' DJ cans. They are smaller, lighter, and don't require an amp. I had a pair on my trip over to Europe a...

FS: Valentino V for Men (Canadian buyers only)

I have a bottle of Valentino V 3.4 OZ for sale. Unfort. I can inly sell it to fellow Canadians due to border restrictions. It is 2/3 full and has been stored in a dark, dry closet since the day I bought it. Nice cologne but does not fit into my weekly rotation. I am asking $40 Shipped *Paypal only* ...

Wine or Whiskey?

What do you prefer and why?

I'm a wine guy, always have been. I don't mind dappling in the Whiskey once in a while but I know more about wine.

I had an above counter 12 bottle fridge, but my ex took it when we broke up. One day I will have a real underground celler, but for now I am also in the market for something that will hold 8-10 bottles.
