WTT for Rose Shave Cream

Anybody have NIB Rose shave creams? Taylor, T&H, Harris, Trumper? I have for trade NIB AOS Lavender and/or Sandalwood shave soaps (old formula). Also have Institute Karite Shave Soap NIB. Depending on trade value I can combine two soaps (ie Harris is valued higher than Taylor).

Re: Are Simpsons brushes still shedding?

I should have returned them at the time, but I was too lazy. It's too late now. The Colonel is unusable it sheds so much, it sheds about 15 bristles per shave at this point. The Duke isn't as bad, maybe 5 bristles per shave.

I'm not bothered about the formula really, I've never tried the new one.

WTT for Trumper Rose NIB

I am looking for a new puck of Trumper Rose and/or Violet Shave Soap.

For trade I have available:

New AOS Lavender or Sandalwood SS.

Yes, it's the good old stuff.

Shipping to/from Canada.

Re: Are Simpsons brushes still shedding?

I have a Duke 3 and Colonel X2L from 2-3 years ago that both shed and shed. Damn shame because that Duke 3 is such a nice brush/size.

Trade: Want MWF

Turns out I have no Wool Fat....

I propose a trade for a new puck of MWF.

I have available: a brand new puck of Institute Karite, or a new puck of Trumpers Oxford Blue (this is the good old stuff, tallowate, scuttle size). Shipping from Ontario.

After all these years (rose shave soap)...

Nobody other than Trumpers makes a rose shave soap yet? Last I remembered the Trumper soap caused my skin some bother. I haven't paid much attention to the shave scene in a while and thought I would look up an order myself a nice Harris Rose Shave Soap. Not happening.

I have an open bowl of Tabac that I've been using on an off since 2005. Still has a decent amount of scent to it.

When was the last time anyone had an engine failure due to bad oil/filter?

Just asking.

Re: Sirrius XM radio

Hmmm, nah still don't think it's worth it for me, I rarely have the radio on. And my iPod content is based on what I want to hear not what a station wants to play. Even when we are in the car together, we spend all our time talking. Don't get me wrong I like satellite radio, just not enough to pay ...

My Simfix Colonel sheds ~12 bristles a day, how many days until I am left with just the handle?

Squire, Wellll.....I dunno. Here in Tampa anyone involved with the legal profession ( including paralegals and legal secretaries ) definately do not serve. But, I think Richard's twist is kind of interesting....and could have some merit.....?...he's talking about EVERYONE on the jury would be invol...

Re: Jury duty

For sure the system is flawed, there is no sense in having disgruntled jurors. The lost man hours alone from a room full of potential jurors, never mind all the energy wasted in the process boggles the mind. I don't think the legal and government system appreciates the gravity of this at all. My sol...

Re: Jury duty

I got called up a couple years ago and luckily didn't get selected, but still had to waste a day. I understand "citizen duty" and all that, but the whole process is an insult. Reading ahead of time it is advised that you take the bus because parking is very limited at the courthouse. Well,...

Re: In Praise of the Kent BK4

I've also gone back to my BK4 for several months now. It is my most reliable brush, it rarely sheds a hair, unlike my two newer Simpsons (Colonel and Duke) which shed multiple bristles per shave. As with any decent shave brush used daily, you just get used to it and it just becomes "a brush&quo...
