WTB: Somerset Simpsons

Post by churchilllafemme »

I'd really like to collect some 1941-90 Somerset Simpson brushes, all models. If you have one or two or several that you want to unload, please PM me. Please don't suggest anything on B&B; I don't go there. Thanks.

Bump. Just a reminder that I'm still looking for Somersets, and I'm likely to pay your asking price. Thanks.

Bump. Still looking for Somersets, especially a T4 and any Polos. I thought I had both of those lined up, but the seller quit communicating, with no explanation. Apparently not everyone here is a gentleman. If you have one of these brushes and are actually serious about selling, please PM me. Thanks.

I am not sure if you are referring to me or not. You had sent an unsolicited email asking if I would sell my T4. I said I was not sure I wanted to sell and would think about it. Although the brush is larger than I normally prefer, I do like the brush and think I will hold onto it for a while at least.

OK...just checking. I may ultimately decide to sell it but am still on the fence. If it remains on the sidelines this next month I'll shoot you a PM.

John, If you come across an extra Polo 8 let me know. I'll be keeping and eye out for you. I do have a Duke 1 and a butterscotch wee scot if you're interested in trading a somerset polo 8. I also have a somerset Polo 10 handle that I would throw in with it.
