Mike, If you haven't tried them, you should add the old US Gillette Platinum-Plus blades to this vintage blade quest. They are the ones with silver dispenser on blue cards. Very fine blades IMO.

Yeah, all the vintage blades that have been mentioned in this thread are simply superb. I've used them all, both 'back then' and now and they are the best ever made IMO. On this level it's definately a matter of nuance and personal preference. Back when, I used mainly the LB Wilkinons and they are probably still my most favourites, but the others were/are damn near as good for me, and some gents have a preference for one of the others. Yes Mike, that's them. When sold without the razor they will be on blue cards. They came in dispensers of 5, 10 and even 15. The 2 blade dispensers were packaged with some razors as in your pic.
