WTB: User Grade Wilkinson Sticky - FOUND

Post by churchilllafemme »

I'd like to buy a Wilkinson Sticky to put into the rotation with my Feather Stainless and Mergress XL. Its appearance doesn't really matter so long as it functions well mechanically and is not missing any parts (such as endcaps), and I don't need a case. Thanks.

That sale didn't work out, so I'm still looking for a Sticky. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip, but I don't believe that is a Sticky.

The 'Sticky' is not an official name give to the razor, just forum parlance.
It's a specific model offered in the 60's I believe, won some design awards for it's unique specs. Called a 'Sticky' because the smooth black handle is a bit tacky when handling.
Not an advert but I have one for sale here, more minty than 'user grade', but.....this is a Sticky (the top photo):

The Sticky is a twist to open razor, and the bottom of the handle is metal. Here are some images of one that just sold on eBay for more than I was willing to pay.

Thanks for the added information, Rob. I'm looking for one for less than $100, and I don't need a case.
