FS: Kent Genuine Ivory Vintage A7 Brush
FS: Kent Genuine Ivory Vintage A7 Brush
This is probably the most unique genuine ivory brush I have come across. It's unused and is absolutely beautiful and pristine, made in 1945 per Kent. It pains me to sell it, but I am trimming down to what I use. Overall height of the brush is a bit over 3 1/2". Knot size from the base is 1". Comes with the original box. Price is pretty firm at $700. You will not find another one like this.

Well that won't happen. Looking at your past posts, you gripe an awful lot about people's prices (which says something considering you only have 9 posts now). I am sure there is another forum out there that is dedicated to griping about prices and things for sale where you would be quite productive.Mahyar wrote:I think i'll wait another week til the "firm" price is down to a $100.

I just can't keep myself from coming back to look at this brush again and again. I agree that it is both beautiful and unique.
I am SO conflicted regarding: (1) the ethics of owning ivory (but, obviously, this is pre-embargo) and (2) paying more for this than I would for two Simpson Manchurian limited editions.
OTOH, this beauty that was made in my birth year truly needs to move its home to North Texas!

Ken, click your heels three times and say, "There's no place like home for this brush, There's no place like home for this brush....texquill wrote:I just can't keep myself from coming back to look at this brush again and again. I agree that it is both beautiful and unique.

This comment is totally uncalled for and very ungentlemanly. As has been shared there are other forums one can join where such behavior and remarks are tolerated, but SMF is not one of them.Mahyar wrote:so in 2 days it goes from A "FIRM" $700 to $600.... hmmm questioning everything now
