PIF to celebrate 5 years on SMF -- CONUS

Post by ateace »

Hi, everyone --

Five years ago, I joined the ranks here at SMF and to
say "thanks", I'm offering a little gift of a couple of
vintage Gillettes to you gents.

First is a 1964 J3 travel Tech in the common
metal box marked "Razor n' Blades".
It still has the dummy blade card in it,
so it may well be unused. No bladed are included.

The second razor is a 1969 O4 black handle Super Speed.

Both of these are in nice, but user-grade condition and
will need some cleaning up before use.

This is open to all SMF members in the continental USA.
One winner will get both razors.
Winner will be chosen at random, by post number, at 5PM Eastern
time tomorrow, Wednesday January 30.

Thanks and good luck!

Congratulations on five years of membership!

Although my RAD is currently totally under control, I'm excited for whoever is chosen to win this generous PIF.

5 years, wow, good job. Guess Phil and me joined about the same time, we only got 4 years and 11 months to go. Piece of cake, huh Phil.

I'm NOT in.

Nice PIF!

Just a tip for the winner. The travel Tech has an itty bitty stubby handle designed specifically for travel. ANY gillette screw on handle will fit it, and many other handle brands as well. There's even a metric size that will fit it. That could make the razor more useable for the long term.

If the winner needs blades to get going, PM me your address.
