SOLD: Georgetown Pottery G5 Scuttle *Reduced*

This is a Georgetown Pottery G5 scuttle, introduced by the company in November 2009, now discontinued and no longer available. The color scheme is called Ivory & Green Oribe. It has vertical as well as horizontal grooves in the bowl to enhance lather build up with less brush stroke effort, and it has an inner ring of clay added to the inside lip to redirect the lather back into the bowl. It has a circular water reservoir opening with a rubber stopper.

The water reservoir capacity is 8 oz., enough to keep the lather warm throughout a 3-pass shave. The lathering bowl is 3.75 in. wide by 2.5 in. deep, and the outer surface is 5.5 in. wide and 3 in. tall, giving it a relatively small footprint on the bathroom counter. It is best suited to small and medium shaving brushes.

The scuttle has been treated gently and is in excellent condition, without signs of use or defects.
