WTB: Phoenix Starling SE Razor

Post by Pauldog »

I know a fellow oddball razor merchant who is looking for a Phoenix Starling. They're out of stock, and I don't know if they're planning to make more.

Phoenix just got the Stariling back in stock, in case anyone else is looking for one. I might even get one.

By the time I checked it out a day or two later, the razor was sold out again.

Back in stock again! They made two overlapping orders with their supplier.

I posted the WTB for someone I know. He just ordered one from Phoenix, and now I'm waiting to hear back from him comparing it with a Gem razor or two. I have so many different Gem, Ever-Ready, etc. razors that it's hard to justify buying yet another SE razor. But if he says the Starling is better than the Gem G-bar, I might order one.

Or I could order a few, and resell them when they go out of stock again. If they do OK, then I could end up getting mine more or less for free. That's what I did with the Baili double open comb head.
