Here's how that plisson with the broken base is supposed to look. If one doesn't pay way too much they'll have a fine brush. If they're handy they may be able to carefully separate the base from the body of the brush and turn a custom base from some other material and have a nifty custom brush.

I'm not going to play games to win the Plisson with the chipped base. I don't have an Esnipe set up for it. I will bid $34 + 6 for shipping $40 total and if I get it fine if I don't that's OK too.

FYI: The seller couldn't/wouldn't confirm that it was positively ivory. So........if it isn't real ivory don't be surprised. If it is......be happy.
