Whoever that company hired for name recognition should be fired or rewarded! I am not sure which. :P

I am sorry but that stuff is the winner for the worst named product of the year!

I have to say--being from Louisiana and all, that Boudreaux's Buttpaste is the most incredible stuff on the market. It cures any and everything. I know the name sounds weird, but it was developed for baby's with severe diaper rash. I find it works well as an anti-chaffing balm, but it works equally well at preventing chapped lips. The list goes on and on. If you can find it at a store near you, I would pick up a tube. The applications that you can use it for is endless. I assure you--it is the best. And after all, who wouldn't want to use a "butt" paste on their face :shock: ?

I agree with this. Heavy petroleum based product.

Being a transplant from Louisiana myself we have used this on our youngest for a while know. Works great....very oily...so I am not sure I would put in on my face either.

Also, the developer has a distro deal with Wal-Mart and it can be found at most Wal-Mart stores, a few Targets as well.

I was in walmart the other day and over the PA the said something about boudreux butt paste and I started laughing hysterically thinking that it was a prank or something. I dont know if this is the same thing or not but on tv the other day they were talking about older women using preperation H on ther face to take away wrinkles.

Since the threads are so old, I figure they are new to most members (me included). Many of the threads were topics I was interested in (e.g., Pashana Bay Rum Hair Tonic). Since a thread popped up addressing the topics when I did a search, I figured no need to recreate the wheel.

In the case of the butt paste...I just found the thread amusing.

This reminds me a bit of Udder Balm; which is basically Vasoline with some low-grade anti-botics. Farmers in the midwest and plains of the USA have been using it for generations for all kinds of skin issues even though it's designed for animal use. I used it to fix up diaper rash on my daughter when she was little.

Active ingredient: Zinc Oxide

Butt Paste = 16%

Desitin = 13%

Desitin Maximum Strength = 40%

Might as well go for the maximum (with a better name).

Probably not a great ides for the face, considering these all have a petrolatum base. (Who thinks up this stuff?).
