"Get Back" by the Beatles. Thanks for the link.

It appears likely, therefore, that when I was conceived, someone somewhere was listening to "People Got To Be Free" by the Rascals.

Mine was "Dizzy" by Tommy Roe.
Year before was "Dock of the Bay" By Otis Redding
Year after was "Bridge over Troubled Water" by Simon & Garfunkel.
What the hell happened in '69? We got a K-Tel mainstay bookended by two classics!!

I heard a bit from Bill Engvall today explaining why he can't eat sausage anymore. I believe it went like this:Cavman wrote: Big Bad John 11/7/61 always liked that song.
"The eggs are from chickens. The milk is from cows. And the sausage is from Jimmy Dean..."
Oh, my song is "The Runaway" by Del Shannon.

"I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them." J. B. Books
Personally, I think Danny's is by far the coolest so far. Although, if it was the Louis version, that would be cooler still (though it would date one a little....).
I can't complain: "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. Kind of a classic, at least. And not a bad motto. It seems the top song on my birthday has been rather up and down though. From a high point of "Crazy little thing called love" by Queen, "Billie Jean" by MJ, "Livin on a prayer" by Bon Jovi, down to a low of "My heart will go on" by Canada's worst export, and (it gets even worse) "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls, and this very year "This is why I'm hot" by Mims. Yay. Defintely not an upward trend, overall.
Now, my brother gets "That's the way I like it" by KC and the Sunshine Band.
