A Shout out to the Veterans...

Feel free to post anything unrelated to wet shaving or men's grooming (I.e. cars, watches, pens, leather goods. You know, the finer things of life).

A Shout out to the Veterans...

Post by scaryshoes »

Thank you one and all for your service to the USA! I thought that it might be nice as we celebrate Veterans Day Weekend (and the unofficial start to summer), if the veterans here could tell us in what service they served, and when.....

I'm not a veteran, just wanted to chime in on the sentiment and express my appreciation to those who have served, are serving, or know anybody who is serving as it takes a toll on them as well. I know a few vets, most recently from Iraq, words alone can never be enough to express my appreciation for the brave men and women of the armed forces. Thank you one and all.

Air Force; active duty from 21 April 1999 to 31 March 2007, National Guard from 1 April 2007 to the present.

I had the opportunity to work in the only aerial refueling squadron ever assigned to Air Combat Command, the 22nd ARS at Mouintain Home AFB, ID. Unfortunately the squadron is no longer active. Best squadron I ever served with.
