Where is KAV?

Feel free to post anything unrelated to wet shaving or men's grooming (I.e. cars, watches, pens, leather goods. You know, the finer things of life).

Where is KAV?

Post by Araner »

The man used to post 10 times a day and now it's over a week since he's posted a word. Did I miss something? Was there a problem or a fight that caused this absence from the forum? Well, I for one miss the verbose son-of-a-gun.

I've noticed his absence too. Hope he's OK.

I too was wondering if our resident JPeterman was on sabbatical. It trust all is well and he will join us again. His literary prowess is missed!

+1, I miss him. I look to post authors and latest comments first to make sure I don't miss any words of wisdom.

KAV is in good standing here, but may have suffered an overdose of WoW. I hope he'll turn up soon!

I imagine that he slipped off to Europe and is holed up in a small Romanian town with his fiance. Lunches with dark crusty bread, candle-lit dinners with dark red wine. There will be stories to share when he gets back to the States, that's for certain!

That's what I like to think. No reason to believe it, except that I want to.

"...a small Romanian town..."?.....maybe a village in the Carpathian Mountains ( delicious shudder )? Sigh...yes..I have that romantic side too. But I suspect that Chris is right....the poor bugger has OD'd on WoW ( glad he didn't buy it from me....and I've been holding a bottle of Bois du Portugal for him too...sheesh! ). What are you goin' do?....we tried to warn him.

I, too, noticed things had gotten quiet in KAV's corner.

I hope all is well.

I'm glad someone else broached the subject, I was wondering as well.
Did he run off to the Motherland to be with his red headed fiancée?.

I happened to send him a PM yesterday inquiring on his whereabouts, but haven't heard back yet...

maybe he's just on vacation. or realised that this is all just wasted time and lives talking nonsense etc.

however, my guess is that he is currently in sichuan province china, stripped to the waist, salivating and skinning with his bare hands some ultra rare breed of badger to provide us with the pelt of our dreams.
Remember: this is all just wasted time and lives talking nonsense to strangers about pieces of metal, hair and chemical compounds.

I generally go incommunicado when I am on holidays as well. And tend not to advertise it -- but usually post something when I get back to let all in on the reason for the absence.

Maybe KAV is really "the most interesting man in the world" and is off doing another Dos Equis shoot. (I'll bet he hangs out with the Old Spice guy, too -- "Look at your lather. Now look at me...")

Chris wrote me a little while back and informed me his computer keeps crashing. So, if he didn't make any posts for a while that was the reason.
I might be it will take him somemore time to correct the problem.

If he is the most interesting man in the world he might say "I don't post a lot... but when I do it is at Shave My Face"
