anybody own a barber's chair?

Feel free to post anything unrelated to wet shaving or men's grooming (I.e. cars, watches, pens, leather goods. You know, the finer things of life).

Post by bigrob88 »

going in the morning to pick up a barber's chair
have wanted one since sitting in them as a kid...
after buying a house and having a place I can put a 300 lb. chair
my wife went from letting me dream to figuring out I really am putting this chair in the living room....haha
at least the red leather matches the couches she had to have hehe

just had to share
anybody else have one?

The old Menessentials store front had one. I remember them stating how heavy the thing was.

And how, exactly, are you going to shave yourself while sitting in it? Or are you going to train your wife in the gentle art of shaving, and then try to stay in her good books?

More power to you sir! I'm sure it's going to be a beautiful thing to behold. I believe I'd have hell to pay if I even mentioned such an idea around here.

I have always wanted an antique barber chair. I was in a recording studio years ago where they had two of them set up in the control room. You could sit in them and listen to the playback. I really enjoyed that!
