Phil, I had that 45! I still love that song.

Mine was Goodnight Irene by Gordon Jenkins and The Weavers. In England on that date, it was also Goodnight Irene, but by Frank Sinatra.

Bullgoose, you've got it wrong. The song is Incense an Peppermints by the group Strawberry Alarm Clock, a classic of psychedelic music. I remember it well.

Mine is something by Perry Como. Need I say more?

As Curly Howard used to say, "I don't remember. I was awful young when I was born". :D

Thanks for the correction. 8)

Venus -- Frankie Avalon.

That's presuming we are talking Billboard.

In the UK it was Side Saddle by Bristol's Russ Conway.

OK, so I guess you all were older than I was when I was born, 'cause I don't remember!

You sure are a bunch of young'uns! I remember your top songs like it was yesterday. Just don't ask me what I did yesterday. :)

Edit: OK so I looked it up, since I didn't remember. I still don't remember (Thank GOD for little favors), but it was "You Belong to Me" by Jo Stafford. I know the song however since it's so timeless :^o . What a lame song. Can I change when I was born?
